About the destination

Nepal — Where the Himalayas Touch the Sky

Cradled between India and Tibet, Nepal packs an entire world into one small Himalayan country. In a single trip you can wake to sunrise over 8,000-metre giants, wander medieval temple squares, drift across a mirror-still lake and track rhinos through steamy jungle. It's raw, soulful and astonishingly varied — and for Indian travellers, it's wonderfully easy to reach.

A Land of Glorious Extremes

Nepal is home to eight of the world's fourteen highest peaks, including Mount Everest (8,849 m) — yet within hours you can drop from snow-capped passes to subtropical plains. The Kathmandu Valley hums with history, Pokhara mirrors the Annapurnas in its lakes, Chitwan's grasslands shelter rare wildlife, and the windswept Mustang valley feels like another planet.

The Spiritual Heart of the Himalayas

Faith is woven into everyday life here. Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha at Lumbini and home to revered Hindu shrines like Pashupatinath and the high-altitude temple of Muktinath. The Kathmandu Valley alone holds seven UNESCO World Heritage sites — golden stupas, pagoda temples and royal squares where prayer wheels and chanting fill the air.

Adventure for Every Kind of Traveller

Whether you crave adrenaline or calm, Nepal delivers. Trek the legendary Annapurna and Everest trails, paraglide over Pokhara, raft white-water rivers, or take a jeep-and-canoe safari in Chitwan. Prefer it gentle? Watch sunrise from Sarangkot, cruise Phewa Lake and soak up mountain views from a lakeside café without breaking a sweat.

Easy, Affordable & Unforgettable

For Indian travellers, Nepal needs no visa or passport, the rupee stretches far, and flights from major cities take just a couple of hours. Add warm, welcoming people and food that ranges from steaming momos to hearty Thakali thalis, and you have a destination that feels both foreign and familiar — ready to be explored your way.

Nepal Travel Guide

Best Time to Visit

Oct–Nov and Mar–Apr are ideal — clear Himalayan views, pleasant days and festivals. Winter is cold but crisp; Jun–Aug monsoon is green but wet.

Visa & Entry

Indians need no visa or passport — a Voter ID works (passport advised for flights). Foreign nationals get a visa on arrival at Kathmandu/Pokhara.

How to Reach

Fly into Kathmandu from Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai & more. Overland via Sunauli (Gorakhpur), Raxaul or Kakarbhitta is popular for road trips.

Getting Around

Trips run by private car/jeep with a driver; Kathmandu–Pokhara takes 6–8 hrs. Short flights and cable cars save time on some routes.

Money & SIM

Currency is the Nepali Rupee (₹1 ≈ NPR 1.6). Carry cash for small towns; cards work in cities. Grab an NCELL/NTC SIM for data.

What to Pack

Warm layers & a windcheater for mornings and high passes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, personal medicines, and modest clothing for temples.

Nepal Trip FAQs

Do Indians need a visa or passport for Nepal?
No visa is required for Indian citizens. You can enter with a Voter ID or other government photo ID, though a passport is recommended (and required if you fly). Children should carry a birth certificate or passport.
Are these group trips or private?
Both! You can join a fixed group departure to travel with a like-minded tribe, or book the same itinerary as a private trip for your family or friends. Every trip is fully customisable.
Is the Muktinath yatra suitable for elders?
Yes. The journey is done by road/jeep via Pokhara and Jomsom, with a short walk or pony ride to the temple. We plan a comfortable pace with acclimatisation, ideal for senior pilgrims.
What's included in the trip price?
Handpicked hotels, daily breakfast & dinner, a private vehicle with driver, all listed sightseeing & transfers, permits/entry assistance and 24×7 support. Airfare and personal expenses are extra unless specified.
Can I customise the itinerary?
Absolutely — every Nepal trip is 100% customisable. Change hotels, days, pace, or add Chitwan, Lumbini, Nagarkot or trekking. Just tell us in your trip request.
